Yuanjiang Hualong Catalyst Technology Co., Ltd. was established relying on advanced catalytic Engineering Research Center (Hunan University) in January 2008 in Yuanjiang,China. The operating ranges at the company contain the research, manufacture and sales of catalysts and fine chemical products. Research at the company is focused on the development of the porphyrin catalysts for the aerobic oxidation of hydrocarbons and the porphyrin photosensitizers for photoelectronic materials.
Yuanjiang Hualong Catalyst Technology Co., Ltd. has developed new cost-efficient synthetic routes to porphyrinic compounds and the patented inventions for the industrial-scale production of porphyrins and metalloporphyrins. The company is the only specialized industry-scale manufacture of porphyrins in the world. The company completed first the transform of the porphyrin compounds from the chemical reagents to the industry products in the world in 2004, and form a series of Hualong brand porphyrin products. At present, the company is able to manufacture various substituted tetraphenylporphine compounds and substituted metallotetraphenylporphyrin compounds in the sales price of 10% of the current market price of the perphyrin reagents. We are also able to synthesize porphyrins and other organic compounds on request for our customers.
Furthermore, the company is interested in any application of porphyrin compounds in science and technology. The company developed the biomimetic catalytic oxidation of hydrocarbons with air catalyzed metalloporphyrins under the mild conditions. Series invention technology has been applied on a large industrial plant introduction, becoming the first international biomimetic catalytic oxidation of hydrocarbons in industrial applications.
